Meet Jack

Jack Kort has been preparing for a career in real estate his entire life.

His entrepreneurial journey began at age 10, selling Amway products. By middle school, he had become the top magazine salesperson in his school while simultaneously operating a dog-walking business, lawn service, and snow cone stand. These early experiences instilled in him the values of hard work, exceptional service, and relationship-building.

A native Washingtonian, Jack was born in Washington, D.C., and raised throughout Prince George’s, Howard, and Montgomery Counties. For more than 37 years, he has helped buyers and sellers across the region, successfully completing over 1,800 real estate transactions. Throughout his career, he has consistently ranked among the top-producing agents in the DMV and has been a longtime Top 20 agent with Weichert.

For Jack, real estate is about people—not just properties. Over the years, he has guided clients through first-time home purchases, growing families, relocations, downsizing, financial transitions, divorce, and the loss of loved ones. These experiences have shaped him into a skilled listener, trusted advisor, educator, and advocate.

Jack’s expertise extends beyond helping clients buy and sell homes. Having personally bought and sold 14 homes of his own, he brings firsthand understanding of the emotions, challenges, and important decisions involved in every real estate transaction.

Later in life, Jack became a marathon runner. The sport taught him perseverance, discipline, reliability, and the importance of showing up consistently, even when the work is difficult. It also reinforced his belief that preparation and commitment can overcome almost any obstacle. These same principles guide the way he serves his clients every day.

The greatest compliment Jack can receive is a referral. Today, approximately 80% of his business comes from repeat clients and referrals. He now has the privilege of helping the third generation of buyers and sellers from families he first served decades ago.
